Sheila Rae Erlanson f. Keltner 1938–2013

Ontario, San Bernardino

Sheila Rae Erlanson went home to the Lord at the age of 74, after an 8-year battle with Alzheimer's and a recent discovery of cancer. Born in Ontario, California to Glen and Helen Keltner, she was raised in Wilmington, California.

Precious family photos show Sheila as an adorable baby, as a young girl with curls and beauty that outshine even Shirley Temple, and as an adventurous youth brave enough to pose on the back of a live alligator! A beautiful woman as well, she settled in Long Beach with her husband, Dick in 1967 where they raised their family.

Sheila was a customer service supervisor and international sales coordinator for Belmont United Van Lines for over 20 years where she made many close friends. She was also very active at St. Timothy and Mt. Olivt Lutheran Churches. Sheila loved to camp, fish and collect rocks, visiting many of the campgrounds on the Eastern Sierras. The desert and beaches were among her favorite areas for hiking and camping. Her nickname was "Princess Catch'em and Cook'em".

She was survived by her by her husband, Dick, of nearly 50 years; four children; 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; brother, Gerald "Jerry" G. Keltner; sister,

Sunny Renee Keltner-Mills; in-laws; and 12 nieces and nephews.
