Funeral service for Thomas Charles Fagust "Poppie", 80, of Lexington, will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 24, 2013 at Edmond First Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Johnny Slice and Pastor Brian Lee. Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. in Ft. Jackson National Cemetery.

Mr. Fagust, beloved husband of Etta Fagust, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2013. Born in Chicago, IL, he was a son of the late Elmer Fagust and Jean Wisniewski. He was a member of Edmond First Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an avid Baseball card collector and enjoyed model making and dioramas. He was a wonderful husband and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Etta Fagust; son, Eugene Fagust (Lauren); seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; brother, Bob Fagust, Boiling Brook, IL and sister, Carol Berger, Elgin, IL; several nieces and nephews; former pastor and friend, Pastor Brian Lee; five step-children, nine step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Lou Young and a son, Tom Fagust, Jr.

Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington, is in charge of arrangements.
