Lois Elaine Svendberg f. Carlson 1924–2016

Lois E. Carlson Svendberg, 91 of Stratford, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at St. Joseph's Center in Trumbull, CT. Lois was born on April 19, 1924 in Bridgeport, CT. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Knute Waldemere Carlson and Regina Amelia Hallstrom and her late husband of 38 years, Harold Svendberg of Stratford. A lifelong area resident, she enjoyed spending time with her family, was a great animal lover, and a devoted Yankee fan. She will be sadly missed by all her who knew her and always remembered with love. Lois is survived by her daughters, three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph's Center in Trumbull, CT for their care, dedication, kindness, and devotion.Funeral services and burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
