Joanne Carlson, 89 of Apopka, FL and formerly of Hudson, FL passed away on April 26, 2016. She was born on September 13, 1926 in Akron, Ohio. Joanne and her husband, Roy moved to Florida after they retired and settled in Hudson, FL. They enjoyed traveling and seeing different parts of the country. Joanne was a homemaker and Methodist by her faith. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and her family was the joy of her life. Joanne was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Roy Carlson in 2011 and by her son, Jeffrey Carlson. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Duncan and her husband Bob; her daughter in law, Pat Carlson; her brother, Dan Hayes; her grandchildren: Cara, Kristi, Heather, Eric and Jennifer; and by her great grandchildren: Jacob, Addison, Lukas, Avery, Sage, Hunter and Amanda. Inurnment was at Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka.
