Irene Wilson f. Tucker 1933–2008

Irene Wilson, 74, passed away at her home on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008.

Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Memorials: American Cancer Society.

Irene was born July 23, 1933, in Wichita Falls to Edith and Martin Tucker. She worked 12 years for the telephone company in Wichita Falls before moving to Fort Worth where she retired from Texas Commerce Bank as an assistant vice president after 25 years of service. Irene loved to dance, travel and garden.

Irene will always be remembered for her bright smile, her sweet disposition and her strong positive attitude. It was this attitude that saw her successfully through two bouts of breast cancer to live a happy, healthy life in the years to follow.

Survivors: Husband, Ralph Stone; son, Lynn Davis and wife, Kaye; brother, Young Tucker and wife, Robbie; stepdaughters, Laura Lee Wilson, Tracey Killion and husband, Michael; stepsons, Scott Stone, Bert Stone and wife, Lynsey; grandchildren, Chastity Lamb, Heath Davis, Megan Killion and Mallory Killion; great-grandchildren, Madison and Mason Lamb; sister-in-law, Sharon Dailey and husband, Garrett and their children, Allen and Steve; and brothers-in-law, Jack Stone and wife, Mary, and Glen Stone.
