Judson Waller Mak 1913–2002

MAK JUDSON "JUD" Passed away in Redwood City, October 1, 2002. Jud was born September 16, 1913 in Rock Rapids, Iowa. Jud was married to the late Vera Waller Mak for 57 years. He was a general contractor on the San Francisco peninsula for 40 years, retiring in 1983. He was responsible for numerous custom homes in Woodside and Atherton areas. He was an avid polo player must of his life playing in Menlo Park, San Francisco, Santa Barbara and Palm Springs. He was a member of the Menlo and Santa Barbara Polo Clubs and the United States Polo Association. Jud also was a member of Friends of Filoli. He is survived by his son, Martin Mak (Rita) of San Luis Obispo and 2 grandchildren, Jorna Mak of Redwood City and Rachael Erin Wilson of Walnut Creek.
