Mildred was the daughter of John and Agnes Ekblad. She married 1st Victor O. Freeburg on August 11, 1922 in New York, New York. She then married Karl F. Miller. | |
Notering | Elegant, stylish and educated woman, with high self-regard, who in 1935 carried the Trued Granville Pearson autobiographical manuscript in Swedish to Sweden to distant cousin, Arvid Bjerking, journalist & editor, who subsequently published it in Sweden in 1937. After divorcing Mr. freeburg, she married her first cousin, Carl Miller, when they both were in their 60s, but after her second husband Carl Miller ( her first cousin) died in 1962, she briefly remarried a Mr. Stooskov (he was Jewish) from Larned, KS, but soon thereafter separated, partly over the issue that his stinginess allowed them to bath only once a week and even then they had to share the same bath water (this family rumor recounted by John Granville Ekblad)! |
